Dalia Phillips is a dynamic and insightful artist whose career spans film, television, and theatre. Known for her deep understanding of story, character, and emotional truth, Dalia has become a sought-after acting coach and script consultant dedicated to helping artists connect more authentically to their work. Her mastery of script analysis informs every aspect of her coaching, empowering actors to uncover the layers beneath dialogue and access the humanity within each role.

Production Credits

As Associate Producer of the acclaimed feature Akeelah and the Bee (starring Keke Palmer, Laurence Fishburne, and Angela Bassett), Dalia contributed to all stages of production, from casting through post. She also produced the short film Unspoken, a children's special and Black History Month PSAs for FOX Television, and the stage play Silent Cries, which premiered in her variety production Surrender at the West Angeles Theatre.

Acting Credits

A graduate of The Acting Studio's Conservatory Program in New York, Dalia toured with the renowned Negro Ensemble Company Workshop and has appeared in S.W.A.T., American Horror Story, Akeelah and the Bee, Bones, General Hospital, and numerous stage productions and independent films.

Writing

Dalia serves as a story editor and consultant for writers and creatives, guiding them in developing character-driven narratives that resonate. Her writing credits include an eight-episode streaming series, a stage play, short films, and the feature screenplay SPIN, which reached the quarterfinals of the Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest.

Dalia is an advocate for children and the arts through organizations such as A Place Called Home, Kids in the Spotlight, and The Miracle Project, where she serves on the advisory board.
